Raised in the small town of Wonewoc, Wisconsin and residing in the small town of Monticello, Wisconsin, Rebecca has always brought small-town warmth and big-hearted energy to everything she does. With a Bachelor's in Education from Edgewood College and a Master’s in Educational Technology from Marian University, she’s spent the majority of her career helping young minds grow—whether in a traditional elementary classroom or now as a tech teacher at Edgewood Campus School. Before diving into the world of educational technology, she spent years shaping lives as an elementary teacher in Mt. Horeb and Hillsboro. But her passion for mentoring didn’t stop in the classroom—she also coached high school volleyball, proudly leading her team (with her daughter on the court!) to back-to-back appearances at the state tournament.
A true highlight, both professionally and personally. These days, her biggest joy is being her kids' #1 fan—whether she's trailing her son on the golf course for Madison College or cheering on her daughter’s collegiate volleyball team, the St. Thomas Tommies. Life outside of work is full of laughter, backyard hangouts, game nights with friends and family, and quality time with her two lovable doodles, Winnie and Charlie. She believes deeply in the power of kindness and connection, living by the mottos: “Treat people how you want to be treated,” and “People need to know you care before they care what you know.” Whether she’s learning something new, working in the yard, or planning her next travel adventure, she brings joy, curiosity, and a whole lot of heart to everything she touches.
